camera-to-cloudEarlier this year, I challenged myself to learn Davinci resolve partly because it was the right tool for a job I had and because I wanted to grow as a creator. After some cursing and some head bashing, I have come to really enjoy resolve and, depending on how things go could see it becoming my main editor of choice BUT for now final cut still holds that place. haha

Anyway, Blackmagic announced the new cinema 6k camera that is full frame and has an l mount. I had a pocket 6k pro for a hot minute, but I had Lumix cameras so to have the pocket 6k work for me I had to have ef glass, and I wasn't about to invest in other glass. So I sent it back and got an S5ix. I love that thing, and I really love my l mount glass. The fact that Blackmagic added l mount to this camera is awesome I mean, the s5iix can record braw into a visual assist so I could see lots of people going this new 6k camera with a s5iix as their camera of choice.

The thing that really has me intrigued is their new free camera app for your phone. It's like a pro video camera with pro features but can do a camera to cloud workflow type thing. Pretty cool! I'm probably going to test it out.
